We had fallen in love with Warren County two years before purchasing our dream home. Chris's website really helped us do the armchair surfing and eliminate unnecessary driving back and forth. Even before we selected Chris as our Realtor, he provided invaluable advice as we explored issues on houses that were on the market. When we met with Chris in person to discuss things, he quickly made time for us and accepted our overly friendly golden retriever as part of the family. At our first meeting, it was very clear that he had scoped out what kind of a home we were looking for and knew what was on the market. He wasn't afraid to say "that doesn't seem to be the right sort of a house for you". He didn't waste time taking us to houses which did not fit our needs. He was particularly in touch with the changing market and able to assess quickly and effectively whether a listed house was competitively priced. When we said "we've already seen and found nothing" in a particular subdivision, he suggested we look at two houses there that were close to completion anyway. We ended up falling in love with one of those houses. Finding us our dream house (the first house he showed us!) was the easy part. He walked us through a maze of questions and doubts, and once we finally wrote an offer, we were pleased that it fitted the seller's needs without changes. Here again Chris's instincts and real estate knowhow paid off. Chris was equally diligent with the walkthrough and punch-out list, and he made sure that the remaining items on that list were followed through after settlement. Chris brings superlative instincts and real estate knowledge to the table. We found that he was truly interested in us as people, not simply potential buyers. His sense of humor helped us through some sticky moments, and it was clear that he carefully listened to what people said. His warmth and toughness when needed won our confidence. My previous out of state relocation was hit and miss. After hours of on line searching we were only able to get a vague picture of the region we were moving to. The Realtor knew we only had one week to search in person and after showing us only two properties, told us to come back in a couple days to see the other ones . . . we sought a different agent, and at the last minute settled for an "OK" property with time running out.
